A-1 Glass & Mirror

Message: After looking an our “blown” seal double panes glass window for 3 years, we finally took initiative to fix it. I called 3 different places, one of which told me it was impossible to replace the glass and the entire window needed replacing. I randomly called A-1 Glass and Mirror and the estimator came that same day. One month later, I have a CLEAR, beautiful glass replacement. The installers were on time, friendly, and professional. The customer service, from scheduling, estimate, ordering, to placement is excellent and I highly recommend this company.

Message: Excellent teamwork went in to install nearly two 9 1/2 foot tall by 6 foot wide glass walls! Additionally, the nearly square 7 foot wall of glass was done quickly and all were accomplished in less than 6 hours. Message: I wanted to add a mirror to a closet door in my home. I wasn't sure if it was a good idea or technically feasible, so I contacted A-1 Glass & Mirror to ask. They were quick to respond and explain what they needed to get an accurate quote to me. I sent them measurements and photos and within a couple of weeks, they installed exactly what I was looking for. It makes my tiny studio look bigger and helps brighten the room by reflecting light back into it. That it is exactly the right size I needed makes it look much more intentional and well-considered than if I'd bought an off-the-shelf mirror.

Message: We have used A-1 glass several times over the years. Always a great experience! We moved into a newly built home two years ago with my mother who has dementia. Her shower door needed adjusting and after several failed attempts we decided to hire A-1. Turns out the original installer chipped the glass panel and covered it up with a piece of trim metal and that is why it would not adjust. They ordered new panel and had it replaced with in two weeks. We also used them in our previous home to help us order some specialized glass panels and put them in pocket doors. Again, they were awesome to work with. Thanks A-1!

Message: Two very nice gentleman showed up on time and had booties for their shoes without my even asking. They took the time to clean both sides of a very large piece of glass for my coffee table before gently laying it on top and took the time to make sure it was positioned squarely on top. Would recommend this company; nice people!

Message: Our son broke our double pane window that had a grid between the glasses. Because the grid was custom (two tone paint) and no longer made by the factory, it was difficult to find a company that could remove the grid without damaging it and fix and reseal the glass. A-1 Glass & Mirror agreed to attempt the repair for us. We couldn't be happier with the results, they restored it like new. They were great to work with and we highly recommend them to others.

Message: We had a shattered sliding door glass. Alvina sent a representative to measure professionally. The back office sent out a quotation, estimated installation time (4 to 6 weeks), and payment schedule with clear transparency. The order of replacement of glass and labor is active once 50% payment is paid.. After about 6 weeks (considering Christmas and new year holidays), the installation team (2 persons) arrived this morning on time and completed the replacement within 45 minutes. They are very courteous and meticulous in cleaning up the shattered glass piece and any junk from this job. We are so satisfied with A-1. Will recommend A-1 to friends for sure.. This is my first review posting on the house repair service.
