Message: Very friendly and helpful staff. Great variety of plants. Only looked at the perennials, but want to come back to check out the cacti and house plants and pottery. Great place to shop.

Message: I hardly ever do reviews, but when I have a great experience I like to promote that business especially a local small business. 13th St Nursery is now my new go to garden center for all my garden needs! They have all the garden supplies you need at great prices, and things that the big box stores just don't have. They are also knowledgeable and have A++ customer service. When I called about a few products before coming in the gal on the other line was kind, and beyond helpful. When my husband went to go pick up my items the gentlemen who help him was even more helpful, and went above and beyond in his customer service. We will be back and we highly recommend.

Message: A great place to shop! My family and I met one of the owners ( the nicest guy you’ll ever meet) at their booth at the Home and Yard show at the Salem fairgrounds and we decided to check out their nursery. They have a great selection of plants, I especially loved their houseplant sections. Very reasonable prices and a super helpful, and genuinely friendly staff. I highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area!

Message: The staff here is friendly. There are some good deals on some plants and a pretty wide selection of plants. The ones we bought are growing well. They also have some harder to find plants too. Downsides: prices tend to be a little higher, the bags of potting soil were not labeled, and the outside area was not very tidy (missing/faded labels, plants falling over).

Message: I LOVE going to 13th Street! The owners both are always so kind, and VERY knowledgeable. I have shown photos of my yard and they always make great recommendations. If I have an idea and it won't work, they've told me that too (nicely of course, and you should listen, these people know what they're doing! ). Their staff are always great too. More than once have staff gone far above and beyond to find something for me. Special thanks to the tall young man who was so patient and went and got the thing I walked by like 3 times! Their native section is my favorite (trying to go grass-free within 3 years! ), but they have a big selection of veggie starters, trees, bushes, flowers etc. My personal favorite is the evergreen Clematis snowdrift - perfect for my privacy trellis (also recommended by the owner, he talked me out of my horrible raspberry vine idea! ). I have never been the type for houseplants, but their stock is so gorgeous and so well-cared for, I had to start a collection! By no means am I anything more than a very beginner gardener, but all skill levels are welcome. Hope to get my hands on one of those GORGEOUS Norfolk Pines this summer

Message: Loved the friendly service and variety of selection! Was given great help picking out a fertilizer for my container gardens, and was able to pick up seedling soil and Territorial seeds. One drawback was no bike parking. This is also a place that would be hard to navigate with a wheelchair or crutches, uneven surfaces and not enough room to move around.
